A Charitable Remainder Trust (CRT) allows you to make a future gift to SickKids while retaining the right to income from the donated asset(s) during your lifetime.
You transfer assets (such as cash, securities, or real estate) into a trust. You or a designated beneficiary receive income from the trust for life or a set period. Upon your passing or the end of the trust term, the remaining assets go to SickKids.
